Community Based Care (CBC) Program
The Community Based Care (CBC) program is a comprehensive initiative that aims to improve the overall well-being of vulnerable children by working directly with their families and communities. The program is composed of two main parts: Family Based Care (FBC), which supports children who have been reunited with their families, and Rainbow Community Care and Learning Centre(RCCLC), which offer educational support to children from vulnerable backgrounds.
The Family Based Care (FBC) Program provides essential support, including nutritional kits for children and their families, and organizes health check-ups in partnership with local medical institutions. All children in the Family-Based Care model are enrolled in schools and colleges, with many receiving extra tuition.
The Rainbow Community Care and Learning Centre (RCCLC) are operational in several cities, providing a range of services to hundreds of children. These Centres re-enrol the children who dropped out of school and help many others secure essential documents. In addition to academic support, the Centres engage children in arts and extracurricular activities with the help of partner organizations and volunteers, also conduct medical camps for the community and hold life skills sessions on important topics such as health and gender sensitivity, ensuring a holistic and sustainable impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
